Woolley

This is possibly the only walk I wish I had done wearing headphones. The walk itself was nice, but there was no escaping the traffic noise.

The walk started from the very picturesque village of Woolley.

The walk followed a green lane to the brow of the hill then crossed arable fields.

Often with a view of Emley Moor

The walk then followed Haigh Lane to the banks of the River Dearne. It then followed the river to Darton. Passing through nice meadows.

And then into a local park. Nice views but with the background of the M1.

The path then passed through Darton, until passing through woods and eventually fields.

The walk then passed along a farm access road before passing through Wheatley Wood and some very muddy paddocks for horses.

Then back along a lane to Woolley.
